This version of GMARC provides the Knowledge Acquisition and the Generic Modelling capabilities which give the method its name. The presence of these powerful capabilities supports the ability to conduct direct Elicitation of new requirements from the minds of subject matter experts. This latter capability enables development times for new specifications to be reduced by factors of up to 30:1. Perhaps more importantly, the ready availability of a repository of expert knowledge enables GMARC to be used by relatively inexperienced personnel to capture and develop high quality specifications. |
