This version of G-MARC provides the Knowledge Acquisition and the Generic Modelling capabilities that give the method its name and that enhance ability to identify those abstract features which are essential for the development of systems of systems. The presence of these powerful capabilities supports the ability to conduct direct Elicitation of new requirements from the minds of subject matter experts. This latter capability enables development times for new specifications to be reduced by factors of up to 30:1. Perhaps more importantly, the ready availability of a repository of expert knowledge enables G-MARC to be used by relatively inexperienced personnel to capture and develop high quality specifications. |
